ARE YOU AWAKE?

A Comatose Condition!

God has prepared a path for you, and you will not deviate from the path if you stay close to Him in prayer, have an intentional consciousness of His presence, and awaken to who He is in your daily living. This is the most powerful way to remain on track and the most gratifying way.

Religious people tend to multiply their duties, as they observe their religion, believing that God is satisfied that they can give Him more money,  more time, and more work without yielding to Him that which he desires most, a broken and contrite heart.

It’s religious anesthesia that eventually pacifies the religious into an unconsciousness of the presence of God. They become spiritually comatose appearing to be awakened to Christ, but are unable to consciously feel, speak, hear, and move for Him.  They sat on the pew next to you each Sunday, or in a cubicle next to you every day in a deep sleep with no initiation of intentional voluntary spiritual connection and desire for God in daily living.   Many have learned to follow the proper protocol, rules of order, and programmatic rituals. They Fail to realize the root and essence of their religious practices are perceived mechanically. Over time the practice of religion becomes habitual, all that is done can be carried out with minimal effort and almost without thought. These traditionalist and religious rule followers offer a false sense of security, lulling the very soul into a comatose condition.

God is seeking an awakened soul today, one that is thrilled to be in His presence. You were created to glorify Him and enjoy Him for eternity. He provides joy when you do your part by living close to Him. Wake up to Christ living in you, speaking for you, and loving through you each day.

Deut. 6:5

“Love the Lord your God with all your soul and with all your strength.

JARS OF CLAY

Hello Clay Jar, Does the greeting appropriately address you?

How do you know?

Know This! You are God’s clay jar designed to be filled with Heavenly contents.

Many Christians understand the spiritual concept of being an earthen vessel filled with this precious treasure, but what most fail to accept and understand realistically is, you are also a leaky container, yes,  absolutely a leaky clay jar needing to be filled and refilled, over and over again. What good is a leaky container?  What do you do with your leaky containers? Have you found them to be useful? Maybe you get rid of them and throw them out with the trash, or place them on a discarded item shelf.

Why would God design you to be a leaky container? This week your leak may become a spill, and you need to know…

God has a plan to keep you filled. Lingering in the Presence of God, talking things over with Him wherever you are in your day,  enjoying the privilege of communing with the Creator of the universe, waiting with Him in prayerful worship allowing His very life to flow into you, and in His presence He chooses to fill YOU, His clay jar with His heavenly treasures even though you are at best, a leaky jar.

God designed you to be leaky because it keeps you looking to Him, depending on Him, communicating with Him. Your human condition, your frailty is necessary to demonstration that this all surpassing Power is from God NOT YOU! In His Presence He fills you with more Love, more Joy, more Peace, more Hope in full-measure, over-flowing-measure, through-you, into-others.  Ask Him today to fill you with His Love, Power and Peace.

Share this blog with a friend and let the Treasure-Light of Christ shine from you to a friend, and a friend’s friend into the uttermost parts of the world. Post a comment and bless the cyber-world for the Kingdom of God with your Treasure-Light! Let your Light, your treasures shine brightly today, into the lives of others.

II Cor. 4:7- “But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.”

ARE YOU AN ESCAPOLOGIST?

Escapology is the practice of escaping from restraints or other traps. Escapologists are commonly known as escape artists. They are widely known for their skilled ability to escape from critical situations, coffins, steel boxes,  burning buildings, and difficult situations, often time in combination.

Praying Christians have been afforded the God-given blessing of escapology through the power of the Holy Spirit in the fellowship of prayer (His presence). When we commit to a life of prayer, we have all confidence that God is on our side, and If God is for us, who can ever be against us? Have you learned how to escape within, even in the midst of your life traps, life restraints, and life perils?   In fact, prayer is often the only action one can take because it is beyond all human control.  Perhaps multiple situations have cropped up, a combination of things,  seemingly overnight out of nowhere. I’d say you didn’t even see it coming.  God wants you to attend/ lean to Him.

Prayer is God’s escapology for the believer.  A praying believer is an escape artist who knows how to access God on a moment-by-moment basis. The divine illusion is, that often no change is evident or visible to the natural eye. Your life circumstances and what seems to be a no-win situation may not have physically changed.  In fact, on the outside things are pretty much the same, but as your thoughts are re-focused on Him, something happened! The change may appear to others as an illusion, but God!  By the power of His presence, your heartfelt communion, and fellowship with Him, a metamorphic change takes place deep within the recesses of your heart and now you are re-focused on the One who controls all of life, great and small. This refocusing is a learned component of escapology that is accomplished only through consistent and persistent practice in prayer with the Master!

What’s in your repertoire of prayer escapology?  What is the greatest hindrance in your prayer life? What questions do you have about prayer? What’s your plan for going to another level and dimension with God? Is prayer the key element? How do you get there? Where do you start in your prayer development? These and other topics are open for discussion. Post your blog using an anonymous tag or use your name.  In an effort to support and assist other believers to enhance their prayer life your contributions to the discussions are welcomed and respected.
