Dear Lord,

You are my Shield, My Shelter, My Strong Deliverer.  I ask you to surround my child with a shield of protection. Protect him/her spiritually, physically and emotionally, spirit, body and mind from drugs, alcohol, lust, sexual sin, and every kind of sexual perversion.  Lord protect my child and all children from every demonic influence, attraction and power that would attempt to come upon my child. I pray for a spirit of revival to break out in all children. As David’s heart was drawn to You at a young age, draw the hearts of youth and children to You today.  Lord surround my child with friends who have learned how to trust You. A Friend like Jonathan was to David, one of integrity, honesty, love and kindness. 

Lord, remove all rebellion, and oppositional defiance of Your word. Replace with peace and the fruit of the Spirit.
