Prayer for Rain

Let It Rain! Let It Rain!

…Elijah climbed to the top of Mount Carmel and fell to the ground and prayed.

(I King 18:42)

Father God, We Fall down…

Let It Rain!

To the All-Wise, All-Knowing God of Heaven and earth; He who Is, Was and Ever Shall Be, I give honor to Your name. I come Lord with an insatiable thirst for You. First, Lord You reign in my heart  and every area of my life.

Lord You Reign!

Then, Father send Your refreshing rain drops upon this parched dry land. As my prayer for rain touches  the ear drum of Your heart, release unto the state of Texas and all parts of this nation a mighty rainstorm as You did in days of old for Elijah the prophet.

Let It Rain!

We take the position of prayer and fall on our face to You, humbly submitting all that I have unto You. In my submission I ask no less than “God Glorified” in Your answer to this petition. Lord, demonstrate to the world the power of prayer, asking and seeking answers from You.

Let It Rain!

Lord, substantiate your plan and purpose for the creature to always connect with the Creator for every need, small or great, as You actualize what really happens when Your people seek your face, and cry out to You.

Let It Rain!

We need rain Lord, all over the land. We pray with expectancy, knowing that the Rain Maker of Mt. Carmel, Is the same Rain Maker today, yesterday and forever more. Like Elijah, I continue serving right where you have directed, and remain in prayer, knowing and trusting Your perfect timing and plan to pour out a  thunderous cloud eruption so colossal,  the whole world will recognize that it is a miracle from You,  and not just an ordinary weather event.  Lord, fill the lakes, fill the streams, let water streams trickle once again through the valley. Let the drought ravished earth be filled with Your liquid blessing from above.

Let It Rain! In Jesus’ Name I pray! Amen!
