BUT I AM A BELIEVER!!!

Mark 3:11-12 (CEV) And whenever any evil spirits saw Jesus, they would fall to the ground and shout, “You are the Son of God!”But Jesus warned the spirits not to tell who he was.

Whenever any evil spirits encountered Jesus, they would fall to the ground and shout, “You are the Son of God!” The demons bore witness to the sonship of Jesus. They believed in the existence of God. Demons are not atheists! They are also not agnostic, those who claims neither faith nor disbelief in God.

James 2:19 (CEV) You surely believe there is only one God. That’s fine.                                      Even demons believe this, and it makes them shake with fear.

As you can see, demons are believers! You can see from the passages in James, Mark, and other scriptures where Jesus encountered demons, that demons are also touched in their emotions. They believe, they tremble, shake with fear, along with their intellect. All of which is far from a saving experience, Friends, you can be enlightened in your mind and even stirred in your emotions, your heart, and still be lost forever.  We witness this all the time.

Sunday mornings, from 10am-3pm, people are drawn to religious places based on intellectual knowledge and emotionalism. Yes, they are believers, too! Jesus is acknowledged as the Son of the living God. Jesus the Holy One of God, “Thou art the Christ the Son of God, Verbal intellect, informational facts, and emotional acknowledgment are high. But “Don’t Stop the Music!” The shouting ceases, and 60 min. discourse is all over. Nothing changed and everyone walked out the same way they walked in. How do we know? No change in the everyday lifestyle of those who call themselves believers. No judgment!!! God is the Great Judge. However, it behooves everyone to assess what kind of faith you are working with, every day. Your everyday life will make a tremendous improvement if you have the right kind of faith!

Pray:

Dear Lord,

I want more than faith that even demons have. I want my faith in you to be the same faith that Jesus has in you, that faith that can move mountains, and heal the sick, that same faith that caused Jesus to die for me, that faith that also raised Christ from the dead. Holy Spirit, live in me, move in me, and have your being, your existence, in me. Today! Receive this prayer today. In Jesus’ Name! Amen!
